Q: Our real estate agent lowered the price of our home twice without our written permission. Is this legal?

A: No. You should immediately have a conversation with the managing broker who runs the office in which your agent works.

While the agent may be right that your home is overpriced, you, the seller, have the right to price your home too high, too low, or just at the market. Nothing you’ve signed should have given the agent the power to price your home for you.
