I just spent the last 7 hours walking maybe 5 to 6 miles at the 2006 Housewares Show. Great gadgets to share with you. I’ll start blogging about them tomorrow. This year I took my digital camera and snapped some photos. As soon as I can figure out how to upload them I’ll include them in the blog.
Here’s the thing I don’t understand about the Housewares Show: There must be a couple hundred places showing espresso machines, latte machines, coffeemakers, and those individual coffee cup machines. All of these booths offer free samples. Heck, they’ll even make a fabulous cappuccino for you right there on the spot.
So why is the line so long at the Starbucks in the hall? Let’s see, free, great coffee/latte/espresso or $4.59 per cup. You know where I went!
Here’s one of my favorite things from the show: The turkey picker-upper. The only thing that would have been better is if it had a Clapper (R) attached to it! More tomorrow. Stay tuned.
