Looking for some creative Halloween food ideas for your next haunted Halloween party?

If you are hosting a Halloween party, making Halloween-inspired food is just as important as hanging eerie decorations.

Sarah Finlayson, former Creative Manager at Blue Plate Catering, gives us some great Halloween party food ideas and describes clever ways to use spooky creatures in your Halloween food preparation that will entertain guests.
For your next Halloween party, go buffet style if your party has more than 10 guests. It’s easier and you’ll be able to offer a wider variety of spooky and fun Halloween party foods.  Take advantage of special Halloween edition food and drinks.  For the kids there’s black and orange soda, and for the adults, Halloween cocktails and seasonal pumpkin beer.

Your Halloween party food options are endless, but here’s Sarah’s favorites for Halloween desserts:  colorful Halloween candy, caramel apples, Halloween themed cookies, and monster-like cupcakes.

You could even go one step further and have your guests dip their own caramel apples and individually decorate them for Halloween.

The key for Halloween party food ideas and Halloween party planning in general is to not be intimidated but to plan ahead.   If you are organized with Halloween party planning, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your successful Halloween party.
