I'm Ilyce Glink with expertrealestatetips.net and when it comes to identity theft, truth is stranger than fiction. All those weird stories and funky urban legends.
Well, one time or another they've come true when it comes to having your identity stolen. But if you want to prevent identity theft there are some things that you can do.
If you want to avoid getting ripped off, don't buy anything from anyone who sells door to door. If you need your roof fixed, call a top rated roofing company or go to a home improvement store.
If someone knocks at your door and tells you that your shingles are hanging or your siding is giving out, thank them for their concern and close the door.
Buying materials from someone who knocks on your door, who's got a truck on the street is just opening the door to identity theft. Don't let it happen to you.
