Q. What is curb appeal?
A. Curb appeal is the term brokers use to describe how homes look from the curb or sidewalk, in front of the home.
It's important that your house (curb appeal applies mainly to single-family homes and town houses rather than condos, since most condo associations care for the exterior and common areas of the property) has an excellent street presence and curb appeal. Your home's curb appeal must impress a prospective buyer. If buyers like what they see from the street or their car window -- they will be more likely to go up and take a closer look.
