Unhappy about how much you're paying in property taxes? Live in Fulton County, GA? We had a call from Bob to say that his assessment went up 33 percent this year. He appealed and they denied his appeal and raised his property tax assessment from the prior year as well. Ouch!
We received a call from a woman who has had luck with the Fulton County Taxpayer's Foundation (www.fctf.org). It's $50 to join, but there's a staff person who can help give you guidance on your real estate tax situation.
