Blog: More Stimulus Funds Going To Housing

The latest announcement of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Funds will send almost half a billion dollars to several states for non-profits to hire contractors to build affordable housing.
Treasury Deputy Secretary Neal Wolin said, “This initiative will help spur construction and development, create much needed jobs, and increase the availability of affordable housing for families around the country.”
This funding will go to help the construction industry and provide housing for more families. Where would you like to see the Recovery Act funds going? Where do you need jobs in your state?
