Another Recession Coming? Architecture Billing Index Down Sharply in May

Is there another recession coming? Will we see another dip in the economy? After three straight months of improving conditions, the Architecture Billings Index (ABI) fell nearly three points. As a leading economic indicator of construction activity, the ABI reflects the approximate nine to twelve month lag time between architecture billings and construction spending.
