When Weather Affects the Economy on the Ilyce Glink Show July 31, 2011:

This week we rebroadcasted a favorite show from July 17, 2011. This summer has witnessed its fair share of extreme storms where I live in the Midwest, as well as around the country, so that prompted a discussion about what happens when weather affects the economy.

We also talked about concerns with the global economy. Could Greece’s problems act as a  “contagion” that may spread across the rest of Europe? We’re now hearing rumors of imminent crisis in Italy and France, so perhaps so.
