September 11 Remembrances on the Ilyce Glink Show September 11, 2011:
It was an emotional and reflective day on this special one-hour edition of the Ilyce Glink Show. Ten years after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon and a crashed airliner in Pennsylvania, most of us can vividly recall where we were and how we felt on that fateful day.
We bucked the traditional show format to open up the lines and let listeners drive the hour, after I shared my own newsroom perspective from that day 10 years ago.
In large degree, the affected areas and the nation have rebuilt but time can not make us forget.
