There’s a scary story this morning from AP technology writer Dan Goodin

It says that even though the government says that the radio frequency passports are identity-theft proof, it’s apparently not so.

Apparently, a demonstration late Friday night by a German security expert showed how the radio tags could be copied and inserted into another passport.

I guess it’s back to the drawing board.
