Jonathan Pond has a new book out that’s tailored to Baby Boomers who are worried about having enough cash to pay for their retirement: “You Can Do It! The Boomer’s Guide to a Great Retirement” (collins, 393 Pages, $26.95). For more information, go to Jonathan’s website, www.jonathanpond.com.

On today’s show we also talked about today’s Wall Street Journal article on turning your eBay hobby into a profitable business. The Journal’s story www.wsj.com is subscription only, but the author of the piece recommended a great book that you might want to read: “The 100 Best Things I’ve Sold on eBay” by Lynn Dralle, “the so-called Queen of Auctions.” Apparently, the book consists of descriptions of things she bought for fire-sale prices at yard sales or had inherited and then sold on eBay for hundreds of bucks. Want to earn $10,000 a month? I guess you’ll have to read the book.

I’ll be filling in tomorrow for Clark Howard (who, by the way, called from 10,000 feet on Solitude Mountain to say the skiing was great, but cold — 16F — and he was hungry and thought he’d have to pop for lunch on the mountain). I hope you can join us.
