Some financial guru Wade Cook turned out to be.

He was great at making millions — for himself. Too bad he didn’t feel like paying taxes on the cash. He was sentenced in August to 88 months in a federal penitentiary for tax evasion.

There is no way I know of to get-rich-quick. But buy Cook’s books, watching him on TV and you can almost imagine that getting rich quickly is just around the next corner.

A jury discovered that Cook falsified his tax returns from 1998 through 2000 on royalty payments of $9.5 million. He also obstructed federal investigations.
