Gas prices have doubled in the past two years and that’s causing a huge problem for listeners like Trey, whose landscape business is entirely dependent on gas to power it.

Trey owns three landscape trucks, and his business covers the entire metro area. He uses gas-powered equipment to cut the grass and trim the hedges. It’s tough at $4 per gallon. If it gets much higher, he’ll either lay people off or have to “take the last paycheck,” and close the business.
