We’ve recently been working on several stories about transfer on death deeds for real estate. A TOD deed allows you to transfer the title of a property into another’s name without going through probate.

We’ve learned that 12 states now accept TOD deeds (or beneficiary deeds). They are:

Arizona
Arkansas
Colorado
Kansas
Minnesota
Missouri
Montana
Nevada
New Mexico
Ohio
Oklahoma
Wisconsin
