Live at the WSB Care-a-Thon 2012 raising cash with Walter Reeves, author of the Georgia Gardener’s Guide, to help fund family support services, research and the fellowship program at the Aflac Cancer Center. And as usual, providing personal finance advice, real estate advice and consumer advice on the Ilyce Glink Show July 26, 2012 on WSB Radio.

It’s a scorcher in Atlanta today at 104 degrees but I am doing something very cool that makes my year. I am working the WSB Care-a-Thon 2012 with my good friend Walter Reeves, author of the Georgia Gardener’s Guide. We are helping to raise cash for the the Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Money raised from the Care-a-Thon will help fund family support services, research and the fellowship program at the Aflac Cancer Center. It’s a worthy cause.

For the first hour of this broadcast, Walter and I each have 100 autographed books to give away, for a total of 200, to the first callers willing to pledge $100 to the Center. Walter will dole out the Georgia Gardener’s Guide and I will disseminate my book Buy, Close, Move In. But that’s not all!

This hour we have another twist: pledge $2,500 and you and a guest will join Walter and I for dinner at a location yet to be selected. Doesn’t that sound fun? Donate now and help some wonderful children get the help they need.

You can get more personal finance advice, real estate advice and consumer advice by listening to this radio show and by listening to my other radio shows.  Simply download them to your phone or audio player. You can also read our articles on real estate, credit, and consumer advice articles as well.
